摘要
A thin wideband resistively loaded absorber with frequency selective surface (FSS) is presented. A unit cell of the absorber contains a "c" shaped metallic dipole which printed on the substrate, loaded with a lumped resistor in the middle. A PEC ground plane was under the substrate. The substrate material chosen is FR4, having a dielectric constant of 4.4, a loss tangent of 0.02 and a thickness of 1mm. Simulation results show that the absorption coefficient of the proposed structure is greater than 90% from 4.07GHz to 16.54GHz with 121% operating frequency band, while the thickness is less than 8% of the free space wavelength at the lowest operation frequency. In addition, the effects of structure parameters of the unit cell and various incident angles on the absorption properties were analyzed.
