In-plain electrical resistivity of YbCu2Si2 was investigated using a flux-grown single crystal. Despite the well-known mixed-valent character, its resistivity shows non-Fermi liquid behavior with a T-1.4 dependence (T: temperature) between 20 and 1.8 K. This non-Fermi liquid behavior is not affected by magnetic fields up to 8 T. On the other hand, specific heat below 10 K are explained by the conventional Fermi liquid behavior. These data are compared with those of CeCu2Si2 under high pressures. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
