摘要
Two-step prediction of the current reference is normally required for predictive current control due to the digital delay in practical application. For the active power filter, current harmonics need to be injected to compensate for the grid-side current distortions resulted from the load. As the reference of current harmonics may varies suddenly at some points, the conventional two-step reference prediction methods cannot achieve satisfactory steady-state performance. Based on the comparison of several reference prediction methods, a simple yet very effective reference prediction scheme is introduced for predictive current control of active power filters. The simulation and experimental tests were carried out to confirm the effectiveness of the whole control system.
