摘要
An optical mapping system has been developed which allows the in-vitro analysis of cardiac electrical activity. While optical recording using excised cardiac tissues has proven to be very useful for illuminating basic issues of impulse propagation, re-entrant excitation, defibrillation, and cardiac electrophysiologic development, these results must be carefully extrapolated to the physiological conditions encountered in the intact organism. The system uses of a fiber-optic mapping plaque which consists of a 16×16 array of fiber optic pickups embedded in a flexible substrate.
