摘要
In sandy loamy calcareous soil contaminated with lead from combustion products of leaded motor fuel, 47% of the lead was found in the sand fraction. Only 5-12% of the lead was found in the sand fractions of clay and sandy clay loamy soils spiked with Pb(II) salts. The application of zeolite (clinoptilolite) decreased the Pb content in the soil liquid phase, which should decrease its availability to plants. However, zeolite did not allow the metal to be transferred from the silt and clay fractions into the sand fraction in order to prevent its transfer with dust into the atmosphere by wind.
