摘要
This paper proposes a new approach for facilitating the cooperation of humans and machines from the viewpoint of Multi-Agent Systems (MAS). When a global problem is divided into subproblems, humans can take responsibility for ill-structured parts by utilizing their flexible and intuitive judgment. In contrast, agents are suitable for dealing with well-structured parts by exploiting their abundant computational resources and capabilities. An interface between humans and machines is provided by extending the cooperation method in (Yoshida et al., 1998) to enable the flexible interaction among them. Copyright (C) 1998 IFAC.
