摘要：
Based on some authoritative theories, such as those of Greenbaum and Quirk, this paper stresses on the importance of prepositions and aims to illustrate an efficient way of teaching prepositions and prepositional phrases in EFL class. It makes use of the combination of some universally acknowledged theories and some vivid charts to achieve its effect, which makes EFL classes of prepositions and prepositional phrases teaching very interesting to attend and which makes it easy for EFL students to memorise the grammatical point.
