摘要
Vietnam is a country with many different types of folk beliefs, inherited, fostered, and built by generations of Vietnamese people, making that belief system increasingly rich and diverse; contribute to the creation of unique cultural values in Vietnam. However, in that development process, not all human designs bring positive values, negative phenomena in the religious activities of the Vietnamese people have reduced the values that it has brought to Vietnamese culture. The policy of the Vietnamese state on culture in general and folk beliefs in general plays an important role, in guiding positive development and limiting the negative in religious activities. This study shows that the State's policies on culture, beliefs, and religions play an essential role in building and developing "an advanced culture imbued with national identity" of Vietnam. The study also points out the limitations of those policies, thereby proposing solutions to improve belief and religious policies in order to promote values, and limit the negatives in religious and belief activities; contribute to building and developing Vietnamese culture in the context of Vietnam's deeper and deeper international integration.
