摘要
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) has become a global problem in both human and veterinary medicine which means new efforts are mandatory to understand and control AMR. Thus, the development of new computer tools for a better understanding of this biological phenomenon is needed. This paper aims to analyze patterns of cross-resistance and collateral sensitivity using mutual information scores and networks of interaction between antibiotics belonging to the same class or different classes. The analysis is conducted for data corresponding to different strains of Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus).
