摘要
Electrically controlled light refraction in a nematic liquid crystal (LC) with homeoplanar orientation possessing different thicknesses has been investigated at angles of light incidence on the layers exceeding the angle of total internal reflection of an ordinary beam delta(o). The optical response rise and decay time dependences (tau(on) and tau(off), respectively) on the electric field and angle of light incidence delta on the LC layer are obtained for LC cells with thicknesses d = 7, 14, and 22 mu m.
