New trends in product service system and servitization research: A conceptual structure emerging from three decades of literature

摘要
The aim of this paper is to clarify the state-of-the-art of literature about Servitization and Product Service System, by conducting a comprehensive and all-around selection and analysis of contributions from different streams of research. These topics attracted a growing amount of research effort for a long period of time, therefore it is important to clarify the contributions of thirty years of research by shedding light on the core of literature about Servitization and Product Service System. The review employs bibliometric techniques and data coming from co-citation analysis as a mean to explore the academic production on the topic. Findings of the study reveal the core structure of literature (in terms of publications, research areas and authors) developed around the topics of Servitization and Product Service System, by highlighting the most relevant research areas and the future developments. We present a conceptual framework depicting the current situation of literature. (C) 2021 CIRP.
