The next generation (5th generation: 5G) of mobile communication systems have been investigated all over the world. Even after introduction of 5G, there are many terminals up to 4G. However, the concepts of controlling the interference effect of managed wireless nodes and maximizing the amount of communication in the entire network have been proposed. In this paper, the propagation loss characteristics are evaluated where a large number of Internet-of-Things (IoT) terminals are assumed. In this paper, we propose a simple propagation model in the 2.2 GHz band which considers the interference from the IoT terminals, based on the results of measurements in an urban environment.
