Influence of acid treatments on the activity of carbon nanotube-supported catalysts

摘要
The influence of acid treatments on the activity of carbon nanotube-supported catalysts was studied. The carbon nanotubes used as catalyst supports were produced by catalytic decomposition of propane over Ni/diatomite catalysts. It was proved that high activity of the catalyst can be ascribed to acidic treatment of the carbon nanotube support.
