摘要：

In this paper we made a presentation of Tg Jiu sources of heavy metals existing in this area, how these pollutants contamination, soil action on these pollutants, remediation of soils contaminated with metals. During three years conducted a study on soil heavy metal loading in different areas of the city Tg Jiu, were drawn graphics and evolution of these concentrations was performed comparing the results with the regulations in force. Were taken soil samples and was intended to determine cadmium, copper, zinc, lead and arsenic by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Interpretation of results was done according to the Order of the Ministry of Waters, Forests and Environmental Protection no. 756/1997 for the approval of the Regulation on the assessment of environmental pollution.
