Synthesis and magnetic properties of SnFe2O4 nanoparticles

摘要
SnFe2O4 nanoparticles have been synthesized by the precipitation exchange method. X-ray diffractometry shows that the average size of the particles is 4 nm. The magnetization measurement has determined the existence of a paramagnetic state in this metal oxide system. As the temperature increases toward 350 K, Mossbauer line broadens and a pronounced central doublet appears, suggesting superparamagnetic relaxation. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
