摘要
The article presents the issues of the entrepreneurial intentions of scientists and includes such elements as: literature review, research assumptions, a proposal for a model of intention of commercialization of knowledge by scientists and the method of its verification. In addition, a discussion of the usefulness of the model for University leaders and scientists is undertaken. The main goal of this paper is to develop a new model of causal shaping the intention to commercialize knowledge and its empirical verification among scientists. Using the methodology of structural equation modeling (PLS), the results will verify which personal variables (i.e. professed beliefs, values, etc.) initiate a chain of effects affecting variable activities (i.e. self-confidence, self-efficacy, etc.) and to what extent the context affects for such behavior (i.e. completed training, support ecosystem, quality of inter-organizational relationships, etc.).
