摘要
A novel structure, in which a short section of depressed cladding fiber stub containing a Bragg grating is spliced to a single-mode fiber, is proposed in this work. Experimental results, through monitoring the total reflection power from the core and depressed cladding, have demonstrated that the proposed sensor is very sensitive to fiber bending and weak vibration (< 0.3 m/s(2)) in the low frequency range (< 10 Hz).
