摘要
This work reports on the development of fuel cells electrodes with a porous silicon structure and carbon nanofibers encapsulated in macropores in silicon. It is demonstrated that decomposition of carbon on a Ni catalyst deposited on the pore walls can be used to create a homogeneous carbon nanotube layer that dramatically increases the specific surface area while simultaneously reducing the resistivity of the macroporous silicon layer.
