摘要
Paper presents a new topology named RCD reset dual switch Forward DC/DC converter, which, compared with RCD reset single switch Forward DC/DC converter, maintains the advantage that duty cycle can be more than 50%, while disadvantages of high voltage stress for main switches and low efficiency due to complete dissipation of magnetizing power on the reset resistor are overcome. In the presented topology, resetting voltage for transformer is mainly dominated by input voltage and simultaneously it is compensated by voltage across reset capacitor as well. Therefore, loss on the reset resistor occupies only a fraction of magnetizing power. This proposed topology is very attractive for high-line input, wide range, high efficiency applications. A prototype of 250Vsimilar to400V input, 54V output, whose highest conversion efficiency is 94% is built to verify the advantages of this topology.
