摘要：

A quantum mechanical formalism for molecular anapole moments is developed. London-model calculations show that toroidal carbon frameworks support both permanent and induced anapole moments arising from pi-electronic, through-bond currents; dipolar flow in a chiral toroid implies an anapolar component.
