摘要
The existing net metering policy of Bangladesh is studied in detail here to find out the gaps and opportunity in the guideline. The financial incentives available in the country for the program is also studied. The policy is proved to very effective in increasing the renewable energy use in Bangladesh. The consumers are showing interest in the net metering connection. However if certain gaps can be addressed in the program that will expedite the growth in the rooftop systems. Proper instrumental support can make the rooftop system with the net metering more popular and thus enabling the government to achieve its renewable energy goals.
