摘要
With the growth of world communication, wireless communication has become one of the most prominent sectors. The design and simulation result of the 24 GHz (ISM band) antenna has been developed in this article. Many publications have addressed this research and developed antennas utilizing arrays. However, the proposed design provides a novel model of a small size patch antenna that is easier to build and has improved return loss, efficiency, and gain than previous research studies. The recommended patch antenna design is 18mmx2.451mmx0.257mm. The substrate material for this antenna is Roger RT5880 (lossy), which has a permittivity of 2.2. According to the simulation results, this design has a return loss of -28.96 dB, a VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) of 1.08497, a gain of 5.152 dB, and an antenna efficiency of 67.026%. The patch antenna is expected to function effectively and may be used for wireless communication based on simulation results.
