摘要
In the last few decades, there has been growing research interest in investigating the positive relationship between metacognitive strategies, conscious learning, and achievement. However, the lack of a uniform classification indicates a need to map the different approaches, so as to discover the corner-stone strategies that result in ascending the knowledge and consequently the consciousness pyramid. The outcome of this study place executive functions, self-monitoring, and adaptation at the heart of these strategies.
