摘要
Increasing environmental pollution creates a very huge demand for eco-friendly materials. Natural fiber based polymer composites have important applications in different commercial and non-commercial sectors. These partially bio-degradable composites have very remarkable results at loading and sliding conditions due to their enormous applications such as light weight, high specific strength, low density and non-toxic nature. Present work focusses on theoptimization of tribologicalcharacteristics of natural fiber based polymer composites. In this study, jute, hemp, and flax fibers reinforced epoxy composites were taken for tribological analysis. ANOVA technique addresses the friction force, coefficient of friction and specific wear rate of the samples which have discrete impact on the composition of samples as per the applied load. TOPSIS technique allocates the position of the sample as per its performance score.(c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
