摘要
Water splitting has been a promising technology to yield clean and sustainable energy in order to replace the conventional energy sources such as fossil fuel and gas, while the sluggish oxygen evolution reaction (OER) limits its large-scale application. Accordingly, the Ni-Co LDH nanosheets were synthesized serving as catalysts for the OER. Electrochemical measurements exhibited that the as-designed Ni-Co LDH nanosheets possessed low charge transfer resistance and high catalytic activity, superior to that of the noble RuO2. In addition, the outstanding durability was obtained by the as-prepared Ni-Co LDH, indicating the promising application in OER.
