Some of the Theoretical Sustainable Development Aspects in the Reflection of the Christian Middle Ages Philosophy

The starting point of this article is revealing the Middle Ages as a period of time in which one could perceive an explicit reflection about, using our modern language, theoretical sustainable development issues, though conditioned by the character of en era. The Middle Ages disputations were concerned on for example the matter of the central place of man among different beings or the degree of perfection of the whole world and its separate hierarchically organized beings. In the Middle Ages the optimal ecological balance of the world was determined by the Christian vision of the world full of order, harmony and synthesis. However, similarly to the contemporary's, the Middle Ages disputation's most significant point of reference was the man itself.
