Gluon propagator and confinement scenario in Coulomb gauge

We present numerical results in SU(2) lattice gauge theory for the instantaneous part of the gluon propagator in Coulomb gauge D-44,D-inst = V-coul(R)delta(t). Data are taken on lattice volumes 24(4) and 28(4) for 7 values of beta in the interval 2.2 < beta < 2.8. The data are confronted with the confinement scenaxio in Coulomb gauge. They are consistent with a linearly rising color-Coulomb potential V-coul(R).
