Studies of crystal structure and fluorescence activity of Schiff base tri-nuclear Zn(II) complex

摘要
The crystal of zinc complex Zn-3(L1)(2)(2-NH2-PY)(4)center dot 0.5DMF with salicylaldehyde salicyloy1hydrazone and 2-aminopyridine was obtained in DMF, which is a tri-nuclear complex. It has been characterized by IR, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in the monochnic system with space group P (1) over bar, Z=1, a=1.15359(9) nm, b=1.92734(15) nm, c=2.31772(19) nm, alpha=78.290(2)degrees, beta=78.6930(10)degrees, gamma=88.1090(10)degrees, V=4.9478(7) nm(3), D-c=1.498 g/cm(3), F(000)=2288, mu(Mo K alpha)=1.506 mm(-1), R=0.0449 and wR=0.0787. The fluorescence activities in DMF of the complex and Schiff base ligand were studied.
