摘要
Agents and conditions causing changes in hydrological and geochemical states of the irrigated steppe landscape along with soil-ecological features of chernozems are discussed. Further quantitative assessment of the chernozems' evolution is related to prognostic mathematical models, which may be produced if specific properties of water and substances transfer in the steppe landscape and in chernozem, in particular, are taken into account; models should be adapted with the help of experimental terrain data on dynamics.
