Synthesis and characterization of new rhenium-tin complexes with mu(2)eta(3)-bridging CO2 ligands

摘要
The synthesis and characterization of CO2-bridged rhenium-tin complexes, Cp*Re(CO)-(NO)(CO2)M (2, M = Sn(Cl)Me-2; 6, M = Sn[(O2C)Re(NO)(CO)Cp*]Me-2) are described; both compounds have been structurally characterized and exhibit different binding modes of the CO2 ligands as well as different coordination numbers for the tin atoms, Comparisons of the DRIFTS data on 2 with analogs involving two transition metals show similar dependence of the v(asym) band position of the CO2 ligand on the coordination geometry at the metal center which binds the carboxyl oxygens.
