The experimental data of morphological, structural, transport and magnetic properties of sintered Co(100-x)(CuO)(x) composites are reported. The positive transverse magnetoresistance was observed at lon fields. This effect is due to the strong spin-dependent scattering of conduction electrons on the surface-oxidized layers of Co particles. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
