The incorporation of carbon black particle into electrospun nanofiber

摘要
In this paper we present the preliminary results of the prospective study of nanocomposite from the mixture of carbon black (Vulcan XC-72R) to a dispersion of 6.0 wt% polyacrylonitrile dissolved in N, N dimethylformamide (PAN/DMF) in various proportions. These results are part of a more comprehensive study where it intends to establish a model of incorporation of different particles into different polymers. In this particular work the results obtained from the dispersion of PAN/DMF discuss the relationship between the relative viscosity and absolute viscosity to the electrostatic deposition and the obtained nanofibers are presented. The comparison between the relative viscosity and absolute viscosity was approximate and also the variation in function of the carbon black concentration suggests the incorporation of carbon particles into the nanofibers. This result makes it possible to generate conductive nanofibers that can be applied in membranes and nanosensors devices.
