摘要
This review summarizes types of electrochemical biosensors used for hormone analysis and provides overview of their characteristics for medical applications. Comparison between different types of electrochemical biosensors used in: insulin, cortisol, testosterone and thyroidstimulating (TSH) hormone is represented. Focus is on the linear range and the limit of detection (LOD) of biosensors used for detection of various hormones. According to the before mentioned hormones, similar categories of biosensors deliver correlating results in terms of linear range and LOD.
