摘要
With the rapid development of computer network, multimedia technology for e-education is widely applied in everywhere. In this paper, we analyze the multimedia technology, discuss the applications of multimedia technology in e-learning education. Multimedia system offers operators the opportunity to build an open IP based optical network infrastructure that will enable an easy deployment of new rich multimedia communication services for e-education. Effective multimedia technology for e-learning requires carefully combining media in well reasoned ways that take advantage of each medium's unique characteristics. The most effective multimedia provides learning experiences that mirror real-world experiences and let learners apply the content in various contexts.
