摘要
In this paper, a novel antenna which uses horn as a feed based on spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) is proposed. Six SSPP transmission lines that transmit surface waves to free space by coupling feed in a rectangular slot at the center of the substrate. Each transmission line is cascaded by 16 cells at cycle P. And the first 8 cells are graded structure, which allows transmitting quasi-TEM wave to be better converted to SSPP wave. The horn feeding method also better avoids the problem of mismatch between the previous SMA connector and the SSPP transmission line. In the operating band, maximum realized gain of 8.15 dB and average radiation efficiency of 87.5%. The antenna operates at 6.61-11.17GHz and achieves good radiation at the central frequency of 9GHz.
