摘要
Aim. - To investigate the effect of an endurance training program, on the bone mineral density and body composition of prepubertal boys and girls. The Regional Bone Mineral Density and Body. Materials and methods. - Composition were measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA, Hologic QDR 1000/W, Hologic, Waltham,MA) and maximal oxygen uptake by a continuous and progressive exercise test to exhaustion. Results. - A 13-week endurance training program is effective for increasing maximal oxygen uptake, but no sufficient to increase the Bone Mineral Density and to change the Body Composition in healthy prepubertal children.
