摘要：

This paper introduces the coal and gas outburst and its lessons from the shaft coal-cutting process at Mengjin Mine of Henan Province. It also elucidates the countermeasures for the prevention of coal and gas outburst. Furthermore some feasible advices are also given on how to consummate "The Detailed Principles for the Prevention of Coal and Gas Outbursts" and the regulations related to the shaft coal-cutting process.
