摘要
Distribution utility databases often present data errors, such as incorrect values of line parameters. To deal with line parameters errors, methods using smart meter measurements, especially based on multiple linear regression, have gained attention recently. However, the discussion of how the measurements acquired in smart meters impact the performance of the method is limited. In this context, this paper compares the accuracy of a multiple linear regression method for line parameters estimation using aggregate (i.e., the total power and line voltage) and single-phase measurements. Typical North American and European low-voltage (LV) topologies are considered in the test systems. The paper shows that for both topologies, line parameters are more precisely estimated when single-phase measurements are utilized. Additionally, line X/R ratios have little influence on the performance of the method for the cases using single-phase measurements.
