New High Gain Transformer-Less Single Switch Boost DC-DC Converter with Lower Switch Stress and Less Passive Elements

摘要
The main focus of this paper is providing higher output voltage than input side via presenting new high gain transformer-less structure for boost dc-dc converter under voltage-lift (VL) technique. VL technique is the prominent solution among other boosting methods. Using single switch, less passive elements and lower switch stress are the main features of the proposed topology. For the proposed topology, the current and voltage relation are calculated continuous current mode (CCM), exactly. Meanwhile, the voltage and current gain is derived in CCM. After, the stresses of the single switch are analyzed. Also, the critical inductance of the proposed converter is calculated to determining condition in CCM nor discontinuous current mode (DCM). The correctness of theoretical discussions is examined by PSCAD/EMTDC software.
