摘要
The propagation characteristics of double-sided, graphene-based waveguides are investigated in detail in this study. Given the isotropic or anisotropic conductivities of graphene, the dispersion equations of these waveguides are complex and can be derived through analytical expressions obtained with mode-matching techniques. Graphene can be tuned via the application of an external electrostatic or magnetostatic bias field; therefore, novel reconfiguration possibilities are of interest to researchers and are considered and analyzed comprehensively. Numerical results indicate that hybrid modes (simultaneous transverse electric and transverse magnetic modes) are supported and can be tuned in the waveguide when graphene sheets are biased in an external magnetic field.
