摘要：

Let A be a n x n complex matrix associated with f (z)= z(n) + a(1)z(n-1) + ... + a(n-1)z + a(n), W(A) = {x* Ax : x is an element of C-n vertical bar vertical bar x vertical bar = 1} denotes the numerical range of A. In this paper, we discuss the properties of the Kippenhahn curve C-R(A) firstly, and then discuss the necessary condition of W(A) being an elliptic disc by means of the Kronecker product of matrices and the Kippenhahn curve C-R(A).
