摘要
Mountainous catchments are exposed to harsh natural conditions and characterized by highly specialized ecosystems. This paper presents a risk assessment and minimization in steep catchments. Risks are from natural events like torrential flood, debris flow, landslide and avalanches. Human activities also induce risks. Structural measures and non-structural measures are employed to mitigate the risks.
