Influence of recess parameters on the performance of hydrostatic bearing

摘要
This paper describes a simulation study concerning the performance of hydrostatic bearing with different recess (oil cavity) shapes and offset angles. Variation law of load carrying capacity, flow and power consumption of hydrostatic bearing with three oil cavity shapes and different offset angles are obtained through simulation study. The performances of hydrostatic bearings are compared under the same rotation rate and the same geometric parameters. The results indicate that the recess offset angle has a great impact on the performance of hydrostatic bearing.
