Synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic properties of an azido-bridged Mn(II) complex [C3H5NH3][Mn(N3)3]

摘要
A new compound [C-3 H-5 NH3][Mn(N-3)(3)] has been synthesized, in which the Mn2+ ions are connected by the end-to-end azide anions to form the 3D architecture, while the C-3 H-5 NH3+ cations reside in the cavities of the Mn2+-N-3(-) network, forming rich N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds with the terminal N atoms of the azide anions. The complex has been characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analyses, and magnetic measurements. Magnetic susceptibility data indicate antiferromagnetic interaction among the Mn-II ions.
