摘要
Spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) waveguide composed of uniform corrugated metallic structures can support and propagate the spoof surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) efficiently at microwave bands. However, when the surface impedance of SSPP waveguide is modulated periodically, the SSPPs can be converted to frequency-scanning leaky-wave radiations. In this paper, we propose two electronically-controllable SSPP waveguides: one is designed with varactor diodes loaded to control the leaky-wave radiations steering at fixed frequencies by adjusting the DC bias voltages, and another is a capacitance-loaded SSPP waveguide that allows free switching between transmission state and radiation state by changing the tolerance of fixed capacitors and varactor diodes.
