摘要：

Recently, massive data sets of social networks are accumulating at a tremendous pace in various fields including telecommunications, Internet, groups of web users, online social networks, instant-messaging services, etc. It will be very useful in emergency management, if we can predict the potential risks in the social networks. In this paper, we will introduce some case studies for risk analysis in several social networks. With the help of our social network visual analytical tool TeleComVis, we can explore the structure information of organizations' social networks and derive insight from the network data by providing defensible and understandable assessments for risk analysis.
