Manifestations of new χ(3)-nonlinear laser interactions in calcite (CaCO3) single crystals under one-micron picosecond pumping: more than two-octave spanned Stokes and anti-Stokes multi-wavelength comb and third harmonic generation via cascaded parametric lasing

摘要
We present new manifestations of chi((3))- lasing observed under one-micron picosecond pumping in calcite (CaCO3),oen of the oldest optical and nonlinear-laser crystals. Among the chi((3)-)phenomena are 19 stokes and anti-stokes wavelength comb generations of more than two octaves (from 0.3734 mu m to 1.6293 mu n) and self-conversion of Raman-lasing frequencies into the region o fthird harmonuc generation via many-step cascaded chi((3)) processes.
