Thermal properties of (KBr)1-x (KCN)x

摘要
We have applied an Extended Three Body Force Shell Model (ETSM) for the study of specific heat of (KBr)(1-x) (KCN)(x) nf x= 0.53, 0.93 and at temperature between 10 less than or equal to T less than or equal to 150 K. Earlier this model has been applied successfully for the study of various static, dynamic, dielectric, anharmonic properties of pure alkali cyanides. The present model calculations are in closer agreement with experimental results. The ETSM has adequately realistic model and is quite suitable for its application to various other mixed crystals of this family.
