摘要
Economic, political and cultural exchanges between the Caribbean region and the African continent are long-standing. While there is a great deal of research into the representation of Africa in European literature, or of Europe in African literature, research that takes a transversal viewpoint, from one former colony to another, is rarer. This is why we felt it necessary to address the question of the presence of the Caribbean in contemporary Afropean literature, both thematically and aesthetically. This article thus deals with the influence of the Caribbean imaginary on three French-speaking Afro-descendent authors: Leonora Miano, Alain Mabanckou and Edem Awumey.
