On the basis of investigations into the high-temperature steam thermolysis of organic raw materials in the form of mixtures of wood, agricultural, and polymer waste, the authors have substantiated the possibility of obtaining analogs of liquid fuels, and also of sorptive materials. It has been shown that in the first stage of steam thermolysis at temperatures of about 500 degrees C, gaseous and liquid hydrocarbons are formed, as well as solid residues, that acquire adsorptive properties during heating to 1000 degrees C in the second stage.
